EPW - "Breguet & fils" marked case, fusee quarter-hour repeater with jacquemart automaton, 54mm, 18K gold OF original case, repeat function activated by depressing pendant, slide on case band at 11 to prevent repeat activation, spring-loaded signed gilt cuvette, white enamel dial chapter, interior with multicolor gold automated jacquemarts at left and right striking bells in sequence with repeat strike, automated child jacquemart at bottom swinging a hammer in sequence with repeat strike, KWKS, not disassembled to inspect for escapement type, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#720 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 81.3 dwt (126.6 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good repeat function apart from hour hand being currently set one hour out of index (hour strike is returning one hour in advance of hand's current position for all hours), good tone to hour strike and second tone of quarter-hour strike, initial tone of quarter-hour strike is muffled sounding as a light tap, good automaton function, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scratches and fine scratches; dial with scattered hls, patched chipping tight along perimeter edge between 9 and 10, small patched edge flake at 11; excellent hands; case shows little wear, ding to upper right perimeter of rear, mild protruding ding at lower central rear, bow pivots semi-freely; good domed glass crystal.
